Profile

The University and State Library of Münster provides all members of the university, including teachers, researchers, and students, with literature and information. It supports the information literacy, meaning the ability to use literature and information and to handle it in a critical manner.
As a state library, it procures, indexes, and conserves literature and information from and about Westphalia and supports research, work and education in the region.
The ULB is available for students and employees of the University of Münster and other academies of Münster and the inhabitants of the city and the region.
